Role: Supervisor, Fund Accounting – Private Assets (Capital Event) Location: Toronto (Hybrid) Ref: 1121592

As Supervisor, Fund Accounting – Private Assets (Capital Event), you will oversee the day-to-day execution of the Capital Event process, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to client service level agreements. This leadership role involves managing workflows, supervising staff, and driving process improvements while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
Lead and mentor a team of Senior Fund Accountants and Fund Accountants, providing guidance and support.
Assign tasks, set expectations, and provide regular feedback to improve team performance.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor quality control metrics and address discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate records of process performance and generate required reports.
Train new team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA designation is a plus).
Experience: 4+ years of fund accounting experience in Private Equity/Private Assets or similar financial institutions.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of general ledgers, financial statements, and private equity fund mechanics.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); experience with FIS Investran PE accounting platform is highly desirable.
