Senior Software Development Engineer - Remote

Define and drive technical strategy for new products and platform capabilities.
Design and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, frontend, and potentially mobile.
Partner with product, design, and customer-facing teams to translate ambiguous operational problems into technical plans and measurable outcomes.
Build and scale systems behind AI-driven products, including data ingestion, APIs, and operator workflows.
Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, technical mentorship, and quality and velocity leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software design and development, including building and operating production systems at scale.
- Strong full-stack fundamentals across backend services, APIs, and frontend web or mobile development.
- Proficiency in modern languages and frameworks such as Go, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React, or similar technologies.
- Experience leading cross-team or cross-organization projects from inception through rollout and delivering measurable impact.
- Experience building AI-powered or data-driven products and turning AI capabilities into customer-facing products.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of building zero-to-one products, improving systems, or solving difficult technical problems.
- Experience shipping AI-powered production features such as LLM-based products, agentic workflows, recommendation systems, or other customer-facing AI is preferred.
- Experience with real-world operational data such as telematics, sensor data, work orders, or inspections is preferred.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing engineering culture, standards, and practices beyond a single team is preferred.
- Side projects, open-source contributions, or other evidence of curiosity and drive are preferred.
Remote role open to candidates residing in the US; relocation assistance is not provided.
