Dietary Aide (Food Services)

Dietary Aide - Casual/on-call position

As a member of the interdisciplinary team the dietary aide will assist the cook with the coordinating and functioning of the dietary needs of the residents and families of Agapé Hospice in accordance with the Hospice philosophy.
Assists cook with coordination of food preparation and service in the kitchen;
Assists cook with preparation of sufficient amounts of food for residents guests and catered functions according to established menu rotation;
Stores perishable food and avoids waste as per established guidelines;
Cleans and sanitizes equipment carts pans pots and dishes serving areas tables and trays;
The successful applicant will preferably have a High School education or equivalent completion of WHMIS food handling and safety training required CPR and First Aid.

This is a casual/relief position with no set schedule or hours. Shifts could be anytime from 9am - 6:30 p.m. on any day of the week.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
