Nursing Manager - Full-Time

Provides comprehensive primary care to residents .
Is knowledgeable of the Resident Bill of Rights and endeavors to respect and promote it.
Conducts person - centered health assessment/physical of residents on admission with
specified time frame.
Comply with applicable provincial legislation pertaining to long - term care Long - Term
Participate in regular focused resident and family care conferences.
Manages the care of residents by providing pharmacological complementary and/or
Provides outreach and transitional services to LTCH residents who return to the
community.
Collaborates and consults with physicians director of nursing and personal care nursing
staff interdisciplinary team and external resources regarding resident plan of care.
Provides leadership and involves the interdisciplinary team in quality improvement
Provides formal and informal teaching and coaching in the management of clinical care.

Masters of Nursing or equivalent with a clinical focus
Completion of a Post - Master of Nursing (NP Field) Diploma
3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferably in Long - term Care
Innovative critical thinking with excellent communication public speaking and problem
Maturity and good physical and mental health empathy patience and tact are important
qualities to possess.
