Tax Accountant (CPA)
$50k - $80k per yearOur client is a leading software company who has expertise in operating businesses around the globe. They are looking for a US Tax Associate to join their team!
Great mentorship from a team of CPA's and US CPA's.
Gain great work experience in the field of US Tax Compliance.
Demonstrate and apply understanding of US tax concepts as they relate to US Personal federal income tax. compliance, including US income tax return preparation.
Experience in the preparation and review of US personal tax returns for clients, including Forms 1040, 1040NR, FBAR (FinCen 114) and related schedules and in preparing 5471 and 8621 (PFICs).
US Corporate income tax knowledge is considered an asset.
Accountable for engagement planning with senior staff members.
Provide mentorship to junior tax associates in the team.
CPA designated or CPA in progress.
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant US tax experience.

Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
Experience in handling IRS disputes, audits, and requests for information is considered an asset.
