Maintenance Shift Technician

Assist with maintenance work orders as received for various responsibilities throughout the site.
Arrange furniture and operate equipment for special events or office moves.
Participate in meetings and training to gather information and skills to perform certain functions.
Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
Set up with functions around the site, large meetings and social functions.
Prepare written materials (e.g., activity logs, truck logbooks, and inspections).
Perform preventative maintenance duties on various equipment e.g. (dust collectors, rooftop fans/units, scrubbers, neutralization tank, onsite vehicles, ventilation hoods, etc.)
Responsible for Snow removal and Grounds Keeping.
A minimum of a high school diploma A post-secondary education (two-year diploma/degree ) in a Science related program (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, etc.) 2-years previous experience in a related field would be a strong asset. Specific technical skills:

• Forklift license or previous 2-years’ experience.
• Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
• Experience in, or willingness to learn, handling of mobile equipment such as forklift, scissor lift and skid steer.
• Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
• Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.

Salary: $25-30 per hour
80% coverage Health, Dental and Vision
