Do you love the idea of hitting (and exceeding) targets while building genuine client relationships? As a Commercial Insurance Associate , you will apply your superior attention to detail and excellent client service skills while working closely with a team of Producers and Marketers on our Commercial accounts. You will help build long-term relationships with our clients with helping to answer client inquires and requests through policy and coverage insurers.

Assist producer and marketer with all aspects of servicing commercial accounts
Meet existing clients’ needs and process documentation (Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Renewals, Proposals, Endorsements, In-House Policies, Invoicing, Finance Contracts, Customer Correspondence)
Review and ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers before forwarding to the client
Take client calls and answer questions regarding coverages, accept and process online quotes
Answer account related questions/requests from clients, lawyers, and banks
Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry
Will be assigned some minimal, but regular duties to help support the floater position

Level 2 Insurance License or willingness to obtain
Motivated to help support a diverse team and contribute in a team environment
Minimum of one year commercial insurance experience as an Insurance Advisor
Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver positive client experiences and meet their desired needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Industry designation an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma – BCIT)
