Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $131,500.00 based on Appleby Faculty Salary Grid, which varies according to qualifications and years of teaching experience. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team at Appleby College. Bring a strong understanding of the English curriculum to engage and challenge students
Share enthusiasm for English with students both inside and outside the classroom
Leverage digital resources to enhance your pedagogy based on discovery, inquiry, and student-centered learning
Contribute to the design and development of innovative programs that align with the School’s shared vision
Post- secondary education in English or a related field, with relevant specialization
Teacher education training (B.or significant teaching experience in another setting (e.g., university, college, or specialized instruction)
Ontario College of Teachers certification (or equivalent) is an asset
Previous teaching experience is an asset
Strong academic credentials demonstrating expertise in your teaching discipline
Technical aptitude and the ability to integrate educational technology into your teaching
