Senior Software Development Engineer - Front End

We are the Teams Frontline workers (FLW) team which is focused on bringing in the next set of new users by making Teams the app and hub to use for Frontline workers. You will be empowered to have ownership for your areas including design, development, testing, and instrumentation.

Contributing to the design, building, adaptation, execution, and maintenance Teams-Shifts service.

Effective collaboration within the Teams organization and with other product groups across Microsoft in the design and implementation of software solutions.

Design, implement and operate products and features with focus towards modularity, component reuse, performance/reliability in close cooperation with product, design, and engineering teams.

Own end-to-end service solution, code quality and efficiency.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, JavaScript,

3+ years experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js etc.

2+ years of experience and deep understanding of API design patterns, high performance and modern web application architectures.

2+ years of experience in leading the design, development, and maintenance of complex front-end applications.

6+ years of experience in using SQL and/or No SQL databases and in system design.

Demonstrated experience delivering projects that include multiple components while working across and partnering with multiple engineering teams to achieve business goals.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $108,100 - CAD $199,700 per year. Microsoft will accept applications for the role until July 23, 2024.
