Journeyman Pipefitter - Construction

Our Fabrication shop specializes in the design and fabrication of pressure piping, fittings and vessels. Our expertise includes a wide range of alloy materials and specialized fabrication and welding processes. We pair engineering and manufacturing capabilities to deliver tailored solutions for our clients. We are seeking a motivated Journeyman Pipefitter to join our fabrication team. This is a full-time, shop-based role with a schedule of Monday to Friday. Day and night shifts available.
Future project requirements may include overtime, weekend shifts, or short-term field work. Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation

• Overtime after 8 hours per day.

Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving of pipes, valves and fittings
Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair pressurized piping systems
Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required
Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
Read and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications
Previous fabrication shop experience is an asset
Versatile and flexible - able to work in the field or on a project as needed
Takes pride in safety, document control, lock-up procedures & preventative maintenance
Excellent english communication skills required
Registered Journeyman Pipefitter
Previous experience in a shop or industrial fabrication environment
May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test when working on certain sites
May need to have certain safety tickets and complete site specific orientations for certain sites
Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation to and from work
