Financial Analyst - FP&A, Treasury

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is looking for a new team member to join our Finance department in the position of Financial Analyst.
FP&A daily operations including reporting, financial modelling, budgeting, process improvements, all in accordance with company policy/procedure, and other applicable standards and legislation.
Revenue settlements, tracking, internal audits, and reconciliation and analysis of all revenue streams, including ticketing, soccer development, licensed merchandise, and sponsor partnerships.
Assist the external year-end audits: preparation and review of the annual audited financial statements, year-end procedures, annual reports, including notes and working papers.
Assist with the Club cash flows forecasting.
Utilize data analytics to develop, monitor, and improve processes for analyzing financial data and benchmarks to establish cost efficiencies, accountabilities, and effectiveness of services.
Provide data analysis and support which could include financial modeling, business analysis, and business case development.
This is a unique opportunity for candidates working towards or having completed a professional accounting designation; CPA or equivalent with 3 to 4 years of audit and/or FP&A experience in fast-paced, challenging accounting environment
Strong technical skills in ASPE and internal controls
Strong interpersonal skills and ease with communicating with various levels in the organization (including senior management).
Ability to build strong relationships with business groups and other finance team members.
Strong computer skills including MS Office with highly proficient capabilities in Excel.
Driven, customer-focused and purposeful individual.
