Part-Time Operations Specialist

Reporting organisationally to the FIFA Fan Operations Venue Lead, the Venue Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Fan Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Headquarters and other key individuals responsible for delivering a positive fan experience.
Serve as a point of contact for the FIFA Fan Operations Venue Lead on all Fan Services Operations
Manage the Gate Supervisors ensuring they are briefed, and have the operational equipment required
Responsible for the deployment, briefing and overall management of the Fan Operations volunteers
Coordinate with Audio Descriptive Commentators
Responsible for the maintenance and deployment of company assets and equipment
Other duties as assigned by Fan Operations Venue Lead
Ability to identify and swiftly make decisions in critical situations, take initiative and calculated risks, explore alternative solutions, and respond promptly to unforeseen circumstances.
Achieve shared organizational objectives by sharing information with colleagues across all levels and divisions, tangibly influencing others, and maintaining a network of support contacts.
Ability to perceive the organization's global environmental impact, anticipate decision consequences, grasp organizational missions, and formulate strategic plans.
Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in event management and/or operations roles
- Public speaking experience
- Leadership experience, specifically with part time staff and/or volunteers a plus
Languages
~ Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools.
