Shift work between 6:00am and 7:00pm. Every 6th weekend.

We are seeking a Patient and Retail Dining Services Supervisor to lead our kitchen operations in Belleville IL. This position is based out of a 217-bed hospital with a 98-bed rehab center attached. The Food & Nutrition department also supports a coffee shop and full service cafeteria. This role supervises 18 full-time associates in conjunction with the Retail Manager and Executive Chef. This role leads our safety committee and specializes in kitchen equipment.

Establishes goals and overseesimplementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
Complies with regulatory standards including federal state and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality HIPAA regulations and patient rights policies
Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs departmental meetings and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food service culinary kitchen management or related field or bachelors degree in food service technology/management or related field
Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting
Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications electronic medical record and diet office systems
