We are seeking two Maintenance Mechanics to join our growing team! As a Maintenance Mechanic , you will work on a variety of production machines to keep our production facility working at peak efficiency. You will also perform preventative maintenance and general maintenance tasks for the facility.

Reports into the Maintenance Team Lead

Set up, dismantle and troubleshoot nutraceutical and pharmaceutical production machines using hand and power tools, including encapsulation, tableting, pouching, packaging line, and blistering machines.- Problem solve issues and breakdowns on a variety of machinery and systems including electrical, mechanical and HVAC.- Inspect machine parts and tooling to maintain quality control standards.- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine preventative maintenance work on a variety of equipment.- Assist with and perform tasks associated with the preventative maintenance program.- Follow all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.- Participate in and provide suggestions for the development and continuous improvement of all departmental processes.
Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of assigned area.- Report equipment malfunctions immediately.- Report quality deficiencies immediately.- Fluent in verbal and written English.- Experience with Programming Logic Control (PLC) or Automation.- 2 years of experience with electrical maintenance.- Assets
- Red Seal certification in a trade, especially electrical.- Experience with mechanical maintenance.- Experience with HVAC maintenance.
Intermediate proficiency in the analysis and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.- Intermediate proficiency in using computers.- Health and Wellness (full-time only)
