Health & Safety Compliance Officer

as a Safety & Compliance Officer and play a key role in ensuring the health safety and compliance of our Calgary Distribution Center.
Youll work closely with our Regional Warehouse Manager and leadership team to maintain and improve programs related to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Transportation Safety . This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact on workplace safety and operational excellence.
As a Safety & Compliance Officer you will:
Lead Safety Initiatives Develop and implement proactive strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
Ensure Compliance Oversee adherence to OHS GDP and transportation regulations.
Conduct Audits & Inspections Perform monthly safety inspections COR audits and GDP checks.
Investigate & Report Manage incident investigations WCB claims and compliance documentation.
Train & Support Teams Deliver safety and food safety training and support drivers with log compliance.
Background in Safety GDP and/or Transportation compliance.
Education: OHS Certification is a strong asset.
