Accounting Clerk
Temporary (Canada Summer Jobs)
Reports to: Accounting Supervisor

We're looking for a mission-driven Accounting Clerk who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.
Gathers information from different sources, verifying the detailed information needed for the preparation of invoices, sales orders, order confirmations, debit notes and credit notes.
Records invoices, sales orders, debit notes and credit notes in the NetSuite accounting system.
Prints and distributes accounts receivable/payable documents.
Maintains accounts receivable/payable records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, and compilation of documents.
Provides support to the accounting department and performs other accounting tasks and projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or Accounting or Economics.

Post-Secondary student returning to school in the next academic year.
Registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year.
Experience in office work is an asset.
Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
