As the Assistant Wellness Coordinator you will support the delivery of high-quality camper care and wellness services while serving as a secondary responder in emergency and first-aid situations. This is an active vacancy not a future hiring pool and the successful candidate will make an immediate impact by supporting camper safety wellness operations and inclusive programminghelping Camp Stephens remain a place where everyone can Shine On.
Working at Camp Stephens means joining a values-driven people-first organization grounded in inclusiveness well-being sustainability and inspiration. You will support camper health and wellness by responding to medical needs administering first aid and medications as required and maintaining confidential medical records and logs. You will ensure first-aid supplies and wellness equipment are stocked and ready assist in reviewing emergency protocols and prepare detailed incident and end-of-season reports. You will also actively support camp programming by promoting health safety and well-being through direct engagement with campers and staff.
Experience supporting health wellness or emergency response in camp youth or community settings.
A demonstrated commitment to safeguarding confidentiality inclusion and the Ys mission and values.
Required Certifications: Standard First Aid with CPR-C Bronze Cross Manitoba Class 5F License
Daily Wage of $98.33
Professional Development: Paid training and certification opportunities; applicants who do not yet have all required certifications are encouraged to apply as training and support may be available
