Medical Clinic Assistant (Part-Time)

Our office is seeking the ideal candidate to become part of our team. We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated, reliable and teachable person for the position of a Medical Office Assistant for a a medical office. There are two positions - Fulltime and Part time. Shifts include evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, have a thorough understanding of how a busy medical office functions and should have the ability to work under pressure.
Working knowledge of Accuro system will be an asset but training will be given to the successful candidate. Must be able to multitask and be a quick learner. Experience of Medical billing/coding and submission with Accuro EMR an asset. Managing incoming faxes. Handle chart transfers/manage insurance company requests and insurance forms.
