Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for public service and administrative excellence? We are seeking a dedicated Information Clerk to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys helping others, and excels at managing information with accuracy and discretion.

As an Information Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting departmental operations by providing accurate information to the public and internal stakeholders, maintaining essential records, and performing a variety of clerical duties. Provide courteous and accurate information to the public and staff within defined guidelines.
Maintain and update departmental records, directories, and databases.
Process and verify bills, invoices, and other financial documents.
Perform general clerical duties including typing, filing, and data entry.
Extract and compile information from various sources such as maps, records, and databases.
Support departmental functions related to council meetings, variance applications, and public inquiries.
In addition, this incumbent will support more senior level administrative staff. An incumbent in this position should possess intermediate computer skills utilizing the full range of MS Office suite of programs and a typing speed of 45 wpm.

Our ideal candidate has a Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration supplemented by course work in a related field as well as previous experience working within a regulatory, public sector environment would be considered an asset.

This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $29.36 - $34.39 per hour (2025 rates).
