Job : As a member of the Adult services team and under the general direction of the Manager the primary goal will be to assess, counsel and develop comprehensive recovery and case management plans which will restore, maintain or enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues. The position will be expected to provide educational sessions and group therapy in the Day Treatment Program as required. "Experience with group therapy and addiction assessments and interventions.
- Bachelor of Chemical Dependency
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
- Additional Baccalaureate degrees (generally social sciences or human services) acceptable to the employer may also be considered if candidate has relevant experience. These would include a Bachelors in Psychology, Human Justice and Psych Nursing.
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable
