Bakery Team Member

Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including sourdough loaves and starter-based products, following established recipes and standards
• Assist in food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
• Support overall food preparation activities, including ingredient measurement and assembly
• Assisting in tracking inventory levels
• Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer orders to maintain freshness and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas to uphold food safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in baking and/or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting
• Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights as needed
• Enthusiasm for learning new techniques in baking, decorating, and food presentation
