Full-Time Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques, including commercial and residential painting. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work.
Restore and maintain existing paintwork on various structures.
Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

Proven experience in commercial and residential painting.
Proficiency in caulking techniques and surface preparation.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: 27 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
