Order Picker / Customer Service

Reporting to the Material Control Supervisor, the Project Shipper is responsible for ensuring that the quality and accuracy of all material shipping to our external customers are completed in a timely, accurate, safe and cost-effective manner.

We seek a candidate who has a core foundation of integrity and is willing and able to use commitment and creativity to drive our organization towards success. This position is located at our Calgary, 47 St SE Facility.

4 x 10 hour shifts, Friday - Monday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Warehouse duties including but not limited to processing and preparing materials for shipments.

Identify, verify and label large ship loose items from multiple projects at the same time.

Process and develop key shipping documents such as BOL’s & packing lists, utilizing drawings and/or 3D Models.

Develop load plans and verify loads, with high attention to detail focused on accuracy and quality.

Forklift operation and routine daily inspections following weekly maintenance based on mechanical check list records.

Prepare and document parts for shipping

Arrange shipping for material orders being shipped to internal branch network & external customers.

Accurate and timely processing of data on computer system.

Provide legendary customer service with an emphasis on maintaining strong customer relationships.

Comply with all company Quality, Health and Safety regulations and work procedures; identify safety risks.

Current and valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License. Current and Valid Forklift Certification. Valid Overhead Crane Certification, considered an asset

Must be self-motivated, well organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

SAP/ Success Factors knowledge considered an asset.

Must be able to work flexible hours and available for potential overtime.

Safety tickets such as First Aid are considered an asset.

Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and D&A test is required for this position.
