Position Summary:
Symbiotic Services is recruiting an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team developing AI-enhanced software solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic and people-focused engineering leader with a passion for scalable systems and team development.
Responsibilities:
Define and implement technology strategy aligned with product goals.
Lead and manage a team of software engineers focused on building AI-based features.
Drive the adoption of best engineering practices, tools, and standards.
Mentor engineers to build strong career paths and technical leadership capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, design, and data science teams.
Ensure timely delivery of scalable and secure technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
- Strong experience in cloud technologies and backend architectures, preferably in Python and AWS environments.
- Proven track record in building, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
