Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Care

Lifemark Surrey Nordel is a well-established, high-volume interdisciplinary clinic located at the border of Surrey and Delta, proudly serving the community for more than 25 years. Our team comprises over 25 clinicians across multiple disciplines, supported by experienced administrative staff, and offers a practice environment where Occupational Therapy is a core and integrated part of care. Collaboration is embedded into everyday practice through shared caseloads, case discussions, and coordinated treatment planning.

We actively support Occupational Therapists practicing at full scope, with exposure to occupational rehabilitation, functional capacity evaluations, concussion management, complex multisite injuries, and mental health-informed care. With free all-day parking, excellent transit access, over 6,000 sq. ft. of rehabilitation space, and 16 private treatment rooms, Surrey Nordel is designed to support high-quality, functional, client-centred care. Provide comprehensive, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to clients

Apply clinical expertise and professional competence in the assessment, intervention, consultation, case management, discharge planning, education, and follow-up of clients

Consult with local vendors regarding equipment trials and complete applications/funding letters to the Ministry of Health, insurance agencies and other funding parties

As one of the largest networks of OTs in the nation, you will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality, client-centred care across multiple clinics or specific clinics and community settings. Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in your province.
• 1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred
• Newly Licensed Graduates are accepted
• Clinical experience is an asset in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics and/or return to work.

Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, time management, computer and documentation skills

Proficiency in computer skills
