Garden Center Merchandiser Part Time, Seasonal-

Interested in working with flowers and plants? We are currently seeking a merchandiser with a vehicle in Collingwood, Ontario.

We service several big box retailers by merchandising plants in their indoor and outdoor garden centres.

Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in the local retail stores

Responsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a free mobile app.

Merchandisers are responsible for the visual display and integrity of our products as well as pricing and inventory management.

A friendly presence is required for the position as you will be expected to establish positive relationships with store staff and customers.

Smart phone required, regular usage (email/phone/photos, etc.)

Safety-toed shoes or boots required (steel or composite) for duration of shift

Flexibility with work hours and to adapt to the needs of the business, including the willingness to work on weekends

Vehicle to travel between two work locations serviced, mileage & travel time compensated in between stores

Hours: Part-Time,

Monday and Thursday mornings (3 hour shifts)

Saturday morning (1 hour service visit)

Occasional additional shifts

Someone with garden centre or landscaping experience, summer students, seasonal retail or general labour experience.

Have an interest in plants, flowers, trees, horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, retail, floral design, agriculture, environmental studies.
