Mechanical Engineer (Design & Analysis)

The Buildings and Facilities group in Toronto provide mechanical and electrical design for all types of buildings in the commercial, institutional, industrial, and recreational sectors. Our clients and projects are varied and diverse. The office is a high energy workspace where we work closely as a team to meet the requirements and deadlines of our clients.

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This position is based in our North York, Ontario office.

Independent design of small and medium projects and portions of larger complex projects.

Prepare mechanical specifications.

Prepare mechanical drawings, using AutoCAD or Revit.

Provide technical directions to junior designers and CAD operators.

Provide technical support during construction.

College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Must have 5+ experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design in the buildings industry.

Good AutoCAD and BIM - Revit software experience.

Familiar with heating/cooling load analysis and energy calculation software.
