Sales Agents for Manufacturing

At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. As an Sales Representative, you will be a technical consultant in the product portfolio accountable for the management and growth of the defined business categories within Smith + Nephew in the assigned territory and ensure access of S+N technologies to patients through outstanding services to our customers.

French and English is required for this role (written and spoken).

Using your expertise, you will convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room while also training surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education/programs in your territory. These connections will enable you to deliver trusted, data-driven solutions and gain meaningful access to customers. You’ll also need to be highly self-motivated and committed to becoming a technical expert in the product portfolio. In addition, developing and executing a strategic territory business plan will be key to driving revenue and exceeding your sales targets.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Minimum (2-5) years direct sales experience with experience in medical device industry preferred

Experience leading/mentoring team members and new sales representatives

Travel Requirements: within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnights a month depending on the geography of the territory. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences

All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of those facilities they support, which can include adherence to any established vaccine protocols.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets. The commission earned will depend on the candidate’s performance in the role.
