Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic

Schedule: Monday to Friday evening shift 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM
Starting at $32.27 per hour depending on experience evening shift premium of $1.60/hour

Permanent position 40 hours per week

• Monday to Friday evening schedule 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM (8 hours/day)
• Salary starting at $32.27 per hour depending on experience evening shift premium of $1.60/hour
• 3 to 5 weeks of vacation depending on level/experience
• 5 paid personal days

• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on heavy vehicles

Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems electrical systems and cabin components
Adjust repair or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers
Carry out scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes lubrication and tune-ups

Vocational diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or related field

• French and English
• English proficiency level: basic reading and writing;
• Valid class 5 drivers license (class 1 is an asset)
