DELIVERY / WAREHOUSE WORKER URGENT

The performance of the duties must align with all Food Safety standards, and ensure a quality service approach to all customers, employees and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.
Assemble orders for delivery with accuracy.
Receive, load and unload all products in accordance with established Farm Boy guidelines, alerting the Warehouse Manager to any quality issues.
Ensure that product is rotated properly at all times to maintain quality and freshness.
Maintain receiving equipment, receiving area, cooler and storage facilities in a safe, clean and organized fashion.
Dispose of collected garbage immediately.
Perform forklift and janitorial duties as required.
Typically requires up to 6 months of experience in a related industry with working knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
Ability to operate forklift and working knowledge of receiving and cooler facilities and equipment.
Ability to work from directives with little supervision.
Strong orientation for customer service and team participation.
Must be flexible in regards to availability and scheduling.
Fluency in both official languages shall be considered an asset.
Unavoidable exposure to dangerous or unpleasant environmental elements such as noise, dirt, dust, vibration and changing temperatures.
Lack of control over work pace due to multiple and/or tight deadlines beyond one’s control.
Required to wear cumbersome protective clothing or equipment during shift.
