LIVE-IN COMPANION/CAREGIVER

A private household is seeking a warm, proactive, and dependable Caregiver-Companion to provide day-to-day companionship and assistance to a principal.

The role is well suited to someone who enjoys providing companionship while also contributing to the smooth running of the household.

This is a live-in position, with private accommodation provided within the residence. Companionship & Daily Assistance

Provide attentive and engaging companionship to the principal.
Provide physical assistance in the event of a fall or emergency and be capable of safely helping the principal as required.
Drive the principal to medical appointments, errands, church, and other outings.
Provide light kitchen assistance, including basic food preparation such as washing and cutting vegetables.
Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and organized environment.
Pet Care

Assist with the cat's basic care as required.
Naturally comfortable providing companionship to an older adult.
Discreet and respectful of the privacy of a private household.
Physically capable of assisting the principal in the event of a fall or emergency.
Previous experience in caregiving, companionship, private service, or a related role is an asset.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Comfortable assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
Willing and able to live in the residence.
Position: Full-time, live-in
Saturday through Wednesday
Private bedroom and private bathroom provided on the same floor of the residence.
