Licensed Practical Nurse (Weekend Part-time)

Become a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bayshore, offering home infusion services in Montreal. This part-time role requires evening and weekend availability to provide specialized patient care.
Working under the direction of the Specialty Pharma Supervisor, you'll administer therapeutic and pharmacological treatments and monitor patients for any reactions. This position emphasizes patient safety and satisfaction, with training provided to enhance your professional expertise. You will also engage in documentation and reporting processes to maintain high care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify individualized care plans for patients
- Educate patients on medication administration
- Prepare and administer intravenous pharmacological treatments
- Observe and document patient responses accurately
- Follow company policies while delivering patient care
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse degree from an accredited program
- Valid provincial nursing registration
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Experience in acute and home care settings preferred
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
