Applications Architect - Senior
Position: Senior Applications Architect
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite/Hybrid : 7.00 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid , requiring 7.00 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Akkodis is seeking an experienced IBM Maximo / IBM MAS SaaS Senior Applications Architect to evaluate, enhance, and expand the organization’s Maximo Application Suite deployment. The successful resource will assess current processes, identify opportunities for improved ROI, and develop a comprehensive roadmap aligned with TW’s business strategy, Asset Management Strategy, Reliability Program Improvement Plan, and long‑term modernization objectives.
Engage business stakeholders to assess current Work Management and Asset Management processes and identify opportunities for optimization using IBM MAS SaaS.
Align solution recommendations with Toronto Water’s Strategic Plan, Asset Management Strategy, Reliability Program Improvement Plan, and related initiatives.
Workshop outputs, business process maps, gap analysis, requirements documentation, and solution design materials.
10+ years hands‑on IBM Maximo experience, with accredited certifications.
- Experience with IBM MAS SaaS version 8+ (asset).
- Proven background in full lifecycle solution architecture, design, analysis, testing, and deployment.
- Strong experience implementing solutions in asset‑intensive sectors such as utilities, manufacturing, nuclear, or power.
- Expertise with Work Management and Asset Management functions, including planning, scheduling, reliability engineering, service requests, and field/mobile workflows.
- Experience with Water Meter program operations or Water Billing systems.
PMP certification (asset)
Familiarity with Asset Strategy Management and Asset Planning tools.
