Groundskeeper - Temporary

GROUNDSPERSON Location: Squamish Area

Temporary : Immediately to August 31 , 2026 , or return of the Incumbent, whichever occurs first

Hours: 8 hours per day, 1 2 months per year

Rate of Pay: $ 28. 84 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager: Transportation & Grounds and with the general direction of the Director of Facilities & Services, maintains safe, clean and presentable playing fields, lawns, School District property, playground equipment and fences.

Qualifications

Completion of Grade 11 and over three (3) months up to and including six (6) months related grounds keeping experience.

Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with air endorsement.

Pesticide Applicator's Certificate.

Working knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems.

Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials information Systems (WHMIS) and Worksafe BC (WSBC) safety procedures.
