Duration Approximately Twelve (12) Months
QUALIFICATIONS
Certification/Experience/Knowledge:
Member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, registered as DMS is required
BLS-HCP Certificate
Experience in all aspects of general ultrasound required
Strong organizational skills required
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required (training delivered by Health Centre upon hire)
Skills/Abilities :
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required
Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of client groups to ensure patient focussed care delivery
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
Good attendance and work record required
Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is an asset.
