Alcool NB Liquor Casual Retail Sales Associate English Essential information Title: Casual Retail Sales Associate Location: Store 45 York Street Schedule requirements: Open Availability Language requirement: Written and spoken in English (minimum competency level of "Intermediate") Compensation: $23.12/hour all-inclusive About the position Casual Retail Sales Associates (RSA) are engaged members of the ANBL Retail team who use their customer-first mindset to excel in sales. They bring a strong passion for the liquor industry and enjoy sharing their knowledge with customers to build rapport. They are strong team players and problem solvers, and act with initiative and good judgement to ensure products are sold responsibly.

A Casual RSA role offers the flexibility to balance work, school, and family obligations, while providing growth opportunities within ANBL. Work hours are based on operational requirements to support the team, including days, evenings, and weekends, and there are no minimum guaranteed hours. Schedules are known three weeks in advance, with the option to add additional shifts when available. What will you be doing?

Delivering an excellent customer service experience

Educating customers on products and making suggestions to maximize sales

Processing cash and point-of-sale transactions

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on products and promotions

Visual merchandising and store organization

Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks in the store warehouse

Routine office, clerical, and light cleaning tasks

What do you need to be successful?

At least 19 years old and not currently employed by a brewing, distilling, or alcohol-producing company (as per the Liquor Control Act )

At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience, previous experience in the alcohol or service industry is an asset

Lifting up to 40 lbs to receive and process stock

Legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship

Ability to work flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, weekends, and short notice call-in as required
