Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced CNC Mill Operator for the afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 2PM to 10PM) and night shift (Sunday-Thursday 11PM to 7AM at its Brampton manufacturing facility. You'll operate one or more CNC VMCs in a busy production environment, processing large runs of carbon steel parts for world-class heavy equipment OEMs.
Setup, operate and troubleshoot one or more Mazak CNC VMCs based on assigned schedule.
Perform part prep and machine loading / unloading.
Read and interpret drawings, machine programs, and production documents.
Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning, monitoring fluid levels and emptying chip collector.
Complete production and quality documents.
Successful completion of a Mechanical Engineering Technologist or similar program.
- 5+ years of practical experience setting up, operating and troubleshooting CNC VMCs.
- Proficient at reading technical drawings including GD&T.
- Speak, read, and write English at a conversational level.
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 2PM to 10PM OR Sunday to Thursday, 11PM - 7AM
Up to $2 per hour in afternoon shift premiums and up to $4 per hour in night shift premiums.
Overtime after 40 hours per week.
