The GI Pricing and Profitability team is expanding, and many new positions are now available! By leveraging data analysis, actuarial science, and market research, we ensure profitability while offering fair and attractive rates that comply with provincial regulations. Multiple Actuarial Analyst I positions are available within the GI Pricing and Profitability team. As an Actuarial Analyst I, you will assist in implementing and delivering pricing strategies to achieve business objectives . Reporting to the Actuarial Manager, the Actuarial Analyst I is expected to demonstrate a high level of curiosity, strong ability and willingness to learn, and a commitment to contributing to the team's mandate.
Regional Auto (ON, QC, WP) or Residential Pricing

• Participate in pricing strategy discussion and assist with implementation
• Support regulatory filing preparation, where required

Assist in building models and applying optimization techniques to recommend premium adjustments

~ Learn to track the performance of deployed strategies and identify areas for improvement

Financial Performance

• Assist in tracking and reporting financial performance of pricing strategies
• Risk Sharing Pool (RSP) Strategy and Performance
• Learn to analyze cession results and pool performance and their impact on business objectives

Private Client Advice (PCA)

• Gain exposure to complex risk and special coverage needs
• Assist in calculating premiums for special coverage needs

Help review and update group discounts and understand AMG's impact on business objectives

• University degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Knowledge of Excel
• Proficiency or interest for programming, notably with SQL and R

Tarification automobile régionale (ON, QC, WP) ou résidentielle

• Aider a la construction de modèles et a l'application de techniques d'optimisation pour recommander des ajustements de primes

Performance financière

• Aider au suivi et a la production de rapports sur la performance financière des stratégies de tarification
• Stratégie et performance du Plan de Répartition des Risques ( PRR )
• Apprendre a analyser les résultats de cession et la performance d es plans ainsi que leur impact sur les objectifs d'affaires

Diplôme universitaire en sciences actuarielles ou domaine connexe

• Connaissance d'Excel
