Software development engineer (F/M)

As a member of the Calibration and Mechatronics Engineering Department who'll be reporting to the Mechatronics Software Development Team Leader, you'll be tasked with developing software for vehicle functionality. You will be involved from the initial enquiry and understanding of the requirement to the final release of the software. YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Develop and simulate algorithms in Matlab/Simulink format to produce control solutions used in electromechanical environments. Contribute to future development and validation strategies for high-level software layers. Establish the specifications and requirements with suppliers of electrical and electronic equipment to support the tender process. YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, software, robotics or the equivalent. Fluency in French and English is essential, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink embedded programming. The ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software and mechanical principles. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of vehicle communication networks (CAN) and associated protocols would be an asset. Available to travel occasionally.
