We are excited to partner with our client, a trusted leader in the building materials industry, to find a dynamic and experienced Building Materials Store Manager to join their team.
This hands-on role requires strong leadership, retail management expertise, and a deep understanding of building materials to excel in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Sales & Customer Service
Deliver exceptional, hands-on customer service, setting the standard for your team.
Identify and capitalize on large sales opportunities, especially with contractors.
Monitor and improve the quality of customer interactions.
Conduct coaching sessions, performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions.
Operations Management
Monitor and control inventory levels and operational expenses.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the lumber and building materials (LBM) industry.
Retail Management: At least 3 years in a retail leadership role.
Sales Savvy: Ability to source, identify, and sell building materials effectively.
Commitment: Must be a permanent resident of Canada.
Actively engage with the local community to grow the business.
Work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
Stand for extended periods and occasionally handle environmental conditions like wood dust, debris, and outdoor weather.
80 to 100k plus bonus + Benefits + Vacation
