COMMUNITY MANAGER F/H Temps Plein

Open Door Group (ODG), a mission-driven non-profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team! Wage: $30.00 to $31.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
This role requires regular travel within Calgary. A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle are required.
The Community Engagement Coordinator is accountable for cultivating strategic partnerships through community outreach activities. Their responsibility is to foster relationships and maintain active partnerships with social service providers, schools, cultural organizations, indigenous communities, and other relevant groups to promote service awareness, and to understand the various ways ODG services can provide or support solutions for our mutual clients.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to Open Door Group’s mission, vision, and values, with a solid understanding of the Human Rights Code and best practices in Disability, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). They will demonstrate familiarity with local community resources and the broader community support ecosystem and excel at building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders to promote service awareness and identify collaborative solutions for shared clients.

Equivalent combinations of training and experience will be considered.
Diploma in Marketing/Sales, Business, or Human Resources.
Recent, related experience of three (3) years or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle during work hours, with ability to travel as required
Must maintain a satisfactory criminal record, including vulnerable sector check
Knowledge of Disability, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) employer resources, training, and communities of practice
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
