Reporting to: CAD Integration Manager
We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer who will be responsible for CAD designs for our stellarator fusion technologies.
The primary responsibility of the CAD Designer is to create computer aided modeling required to enable the design and fabrication of our fusion devices. Translate mechanical design requirements into an integrated 3D configuration model.
Develop accurate CAD models based on given specifications.
Convert CAD models into technical drawings for fabrication, accurate and concise callouts for fabrication specifications, and help coordinate the fabrication of components.
Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, and writing skills are required to enable effective interaction with technical peers, program managers, and sponsors.
Proficiency in Siemens NX modeling, assemblies, drafting and Teamcenter.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a CAD designer.
Desired - AA or BA in a related engineering or design field, or equivalent work experience.
