Senior Software Engineer - Configuration
Position: Senior Software Developer
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite : 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
This position is provisionally Onsite , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced Senior Software Developer to provide IT technical expertise supporting the sustainment and enhancement of police systems. The role ensures reliable integration, performance, and service delivery across critical applications.
The Senior Software Developer will:
Lead design and systems analysis for diverse application development activities.
Develop web-based applications using .NET, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, and Azure DevOps.
Design and implement enterprise service bus and interface solutions (IBM ACE/IIB, Oracle, SQL Server, .NET, ESQL, Azure DevOps, WCF).
Conduct testing and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
Proficiency in IBM ACE, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), WebSphere Message Broker, and IBM MQ.
NET application development technologies and frameworks.
Database management experience (Oracle, PL/SQL).
Reverse/forward proxy configuration and server management.
