Job Responsibility:
Speedy Transport Group Inc. started small and grew fast. Founded in 1941 as a local, same-day parcel pick-up and delivery service, Speedy Transport has grown to become one of central Canada's premier carriers. Today, we operate sophisticated transport services from terminals along the Windsor-Quebec City 401 corridor, with a fleet of over 450 owner-operators, and 500+ employees operating out of seven main terminals. With construction on an additional three sites currently underway.

A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. In a productive, safe, error-free, and time-sensitive manner.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Afternoon: 3:00PM to 11:30PM
Duties & Responsibilities
Load/unload trailers according to company procedures.
Identification of OS&D freight.
Completion of the necessary documentation with care.
Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience is an asset.
- 1-2 years of previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred.
- Cross-dock experience is considered an asset.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a time-sensitive environment.
- A criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
