Production Assembler & Testing

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong mechanical aptitude looking for a stable career in Guelph? We are currently seeking a hardworking and charismatic Production Assembler to join a dedicated assembly team. In this role, you will be essential to the manufacturing and logistics process, building high-quality OEM hydraulic hoses and hose assemblies tailored to specific customer needs. This position offers a consistent straight day shift from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – with a competitive flat pay rate of $20.00 per hour

As a Production Assembler, you will work in a dynamic environment where precision is key. You will utilize custom in-house kitting software for measuring and consistency, and operate a variety of specialized machinery, including automated hose saws and power crimpers. Safety and quality are at the forefront of everything we do. You will be responsible for inspecting and cleaning hoses, pressure testing assemblies using hydrostatic test benches, and ensuring all products meet rigorous quality standards. Set up and use custom in-house hose kitting software to ensure measuring accuracy and consistency. • Assemble industrial hoses per customer specifications, including capping, spiral wrapping, and installing nylon sleeves. • Monitor processing conditions and product quality, ensuring crimp fittings are fully inserted and meet diameter specs. • Perform visual and instrument-based inspections of finished products for defects and conformance. • Conduct pressure testing on hoses using a hydrostatic test bench. • Accurately fill out product inspection reports and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed. • Assist in training new workers and perform other duties as assigned to support the team

Solid mechanical aptitude with a methodic and detail-oriented work ethic. • Proficiency in using power tools, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other production equipment. • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for reporting and instruction. • Strong inventory skills and familiarity with warehouse and production systems. • Dexterity and physical stamina required for repetitive assembly tasks

• Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or similar industrial environment. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift. • Flexibility to adjust plans according to customer requirements and quality initiatives. • Please note that interviews are by appointment only - Our office is not open for drop-ins ***
