We are seeking a Junior Accounts Administrator to join our finance team on a part-time basis. As a Junior Accounts Administrator, you will assist the Controller with various administrative and accounting tasks, and provide backup support for reception duties as needed.
Provide administrative support to the Controller, including organizing and maintaining financial records.
Assist with routine accounting tasks such as processing invoices, payments, and transactions.
Serve as backup for reception duties, including answering and directing phone calls, and greeting visitors.
Handle various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Controller.
Ensure compliance with company policies in all work performed.
Previous experience or education in administration or accounting is beneficial.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Comfortable with handling phone calls and providing reception support.
Part-time position, Monday to Friday, working approximately 5 hours per day.
Flexibility with start and end times within our office hours (our office is open 7:30 a.m. The role is on-site at our office in Mississauga.
