IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a Welder / Fitter on behalf of our client, a well-established custom metal fabrication manufacturer in Woodstock, Ontario. Our client produces steel and aluminum components for a variety of industrial and heavy-duty applications within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
This position involves hands-on welding and fitting work in a custom fabrication setting. The successful candidate will work with detailed drawings and specifications to fabricate, fit, and weld components while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Shift : Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Perform welding using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes
Weld components to required structural and quality standards
Operate fabrication equipment such as CNC press brakes, shears, and plasma cutters when required
Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines
Previous experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a custom fabrication environment
Experience welding steel and/or aluminum
Welding certifications (CWB, AWS, IAS) are preferred
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials
Competitive wage starting at $30+/hour
