Day in the life of a Bilingual Paralegal:
Draft and prepare pleadings along with a variety of legal documents with precision.
Liaise with other members of the legal department.
Manage and maintain a high volume of legal files, ensuring organization and accessibility.
Actively prepare for and attend court appearances, providing solid support to our legal team.
Oversee and coordinate legal settlements and collections processes.
Efficiently locate individuals and assets using Skip Tracing techniques.
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
Paralegal Diploma or Certificate.
Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario and must be in good standing.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written in English and French.
Knowledge of the Rules of the Small Claims Court and experience with Small Claims Debt Collections is an asset.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal software such as Clio or similar platforms.
Ability to work full-time in our head office in Pickering, ON.

We are offering $49,900 - $56,150/ year CAD for this role, plus the opportunity to earn lucrative monthly performance bonuses.
