The Welder & Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, fitting, and welding of aluminum & steel components and structures in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires strong technical skills in aluminum welding and fabrication, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and workmanship standards. The position supports marine, industrial, and custom fabrication projects.
Day shift available; afternoon shift may also be available

Weld and fabricate aluminum & steel components for custom vessels and marine structures
Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
Use standard shop tools, fabrication equipment, and welding machinery
Collaborate with marine engineers, shipwrights, and other trades to deliver quality results
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and marine industry standards
~ Support vessel assembly on new builds, refits, and specialty projects
Experience as a Welder & Fabricator
Proficient in TIG welding aluminum; MIG experience considered an asset
Welding certifications (CWB or equivalent) considered an asset
Experience working in marine, industrial, or custom fabrication environments preferred
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Strong problem-solving and technical skills
Able to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment
Shop and shipyard environments
Exposure to noise, heat, dust, and mechanical hazards
Overtime or shift work may be required based on operational needs
