Accounting Clerk - Permanent - Full Time

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our clinic in Bedford, Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, preparing reports, and supporting day-to-day accounting functions within a healthcare environment.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $31.00–$34.00 hourly (based on experience)

Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
Prepare tax returns
Reconcile accounts
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Arrange for billing for services
Manage accounts receivable
Manage accounts payable
Computer and technology knowledge:
Accounting software
MS Excel
